HOW DO I APPLY TO BECOME A KREATIVE TALENT AGENCY MEMBER?

HOW WILL I KNOW IF MY APPLICATION HAS BEEN SUCCESSFUL?
We are in receipt daily of new application enquiries and uploads to or website. Prior to any application going live it will need to meet with our approval. Kreative Talent Agency is passionate in affording all those who desire to follow a career in the multi media industry be it printed media or commercial tv, the oportunity to at least try. If for some reason we are not able to accept your application at the current time we will discuss this with you.


DO I NEED PROFESSIONAL PHOTOS?
All actors/models will need professional photos in order to create their casting profile page. This doesn’t mean you need to go straight out and spend hundreds of pounds on a portfolio!!! The Agency can recommend photographers who take the style of photo we require. Click here to go to our online photographers page Although you have the choice to go elsewhere for photos we feel a professional photoshoot with a casting/fashion photographer is a necessity by means of attracting casting directors to your profile page. Please be aware that children will require their photos updating on a regular basis.

IS THERE A COST FOR JOINING KREATIVE TALENT AGENCY?
There is no charge for joining Kreative Talent Agency.


WHAT WORK CAN I EXPECT?
We are a multi-talent agency, registered spotlight agency, in receipt daily of TV commercials, feature film, printed media, specialise in photographic work i.e, leaflets, brochures, magazines,, pop promotional videos, extra work and PR and Brand Ambassador work.


CAN YOU GUARANTEE WORK?
Although we have a high percentage of actors/models/children who do obtain work with us, as much as we would love to say yes, as like all other agents we cannot guarantee you an assignment, the final say is with our clients. What we can guarantee you is the opportunity to at least try, and hope that by giving you the opportunity, if invited to castings, that you fully research your casting call, including product, feature, to casting location to avoid late arrival which is not welcome in the media industry.


WHAT CAN I EXPECT TO EARN?
Depending upon the assignment which varies greatly, however not all work is paid, opportunity to participate is a valuable experience, particularly in providing show reels and credits. Rejection rates at castings is extremely high, please do not enter into Kreative Talent Agency with a perceived expectation, the arts is a highly demanding, oversubscribed industry, you need to be seen, you need to attend as many castings as possible, given the opportunity, most of all, if offered a casting you need to attend, casting directors are extremely busy people, they remember names, there is nothing worse for you or Kreative Talent Agency in accepting a casting, only then not to attend.


WHAT COMMISSION DO I PAY?
Agency commission of 20% is taken across ALL invoices inclusive of chaperone fees.


HOW WILL YOU PAY ME?
We prefer to pay direct into your bank account but we do also pay by cheque if requested. We pay our artistes as soon as the funds are cleared in our account from the client. We do not hold onto payments unnecessarily and pride ourselves on a prompt paying system.


WILL I HAVE TO TRAVEL TO AUDITIONS AND IS MY TRAVEL EXPENSES REIMBURSED?
Yes, our work is mostly in the Greater London and Manchester area, sometimes Newcastle and Leeds, but if you are lucky you may follow in the footsteps of some of our actors/models who have attended castings for assignments world wide. If invited to a casting please check out the cheapest form of transport. Attendance to castings is not paid for by Kreative Talent Agency, some castings offer a casting fee and recall fee, but not all.


HOW MUCH NOTICE WILL I GET FOR A CASTING/ASSIGNMENT?
We do try to give you as much notice as we can. For a casting, sometimes it can be as little as one day. For children, by law we do have to obtain a Child Performance Licence for any child still at school. We apply to the child’s local council and most need at least five working days notice. All children require a Doctors Certificate to state they fit to participate, these last for six months, doctors usually charge for this.


WHAT IS A CHILD PERFORMANCE LICENCE?
Children who take part in a performance have to be licensed by the Local Education Authority (LEA) in which they live. The law requires this in order to safeguard children’s health, welfare and education and to ensure they are free from harm and exploitation. You are required to contact your Local Education Authority (LEA) and send part two of the licencing form to Kreative Talent Agency asap with a copy of the child’s birth certificate, doctors certificate.


I DON’T LIVE NEAR THE AGENCY, WILL YOU STILL CONSIDER ME?
We are take people from varying locations across the UK and Scotland, we do not restrict via location.


WHAT DOES KREATIVE TALENT EXPECT FROM ME?
We pride ourselves on being a 24 hour reliable casting agency. When attending castings, you are an ambassador for Kreative Talent Agency, we expect you to be on time for every single audition, lateness is not welcome in the casting Industry. Also if successful and engaged in projects we expect you to be professional, taking note of direction given, race, diversity, equality and the needs of others around you. Please do not assume knowledge of situations you have little understanding of, ask, be creative with your mind and visual awareness, absorb the company, you are in.


IF I AM SUCCESSFUL AT A CASTING DO I HAVE TO PAY TAX AND NATIONAL INSURANCE?
Kreative Talent Agency engages with clients and children on a self employed basis. It is therefore the clients responsibility to keep records of earnings and provide these to the Inland Revenue if and when required to do so.

OTHER
Agency work is highly dependable on good working relationships as a whole in the industry. Whereby there is a break down in such communications Kreative Talent reserve the right to remove artists/children from the agency.

KREATIVE TALENT AGENCY LOOK BOOK
Situations arise whereby the agency is requested to present a “ look book “ listing our artists inclusive of spotlight pins, usually this is for high profile feature films. If you have more than one agency listed on spotlight we will not be able to include you in the look book, equally if you are a spotlight member and do not list Kreative Talent as Agency, we are unable to include on this basis.
